Established in the mid-1960s as the library of the Institute of Art History, since the 1970s it has housed the library holdings of CSAC-Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione.
Specializing in the disciplines of art history, architecture, photography, fashion, film, theater and performance, it is a reference point for students and scholars nationally and internationally.
