"Education and Peace" exhibition opening

November 7, 2025 at the Lecture Hall of the B.go Carissimi complex, the exhibition Education and Peace will be inaugurated: drawings by Gianluca Foglia, also known as Fogliazza, inspired by the book Education and Peace (a collection of lectures by Maria Montessori dedicated to peace).

The exhibition - curated by the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries (DUSIC) - Education Unit and the Psychology and Socio-pedagogical Library, under the patronage of the Opera Nazionale Montessori - will be open from November 2025 - the month of the approval of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (Nov. 20, 1989) - to January 2026, the "Month of Childhood."

The public will be invited to observe the drawings, read selected texts and write on the white cardboard passepartouts frames, personal thoughts or phrases from Montessori's texts (books and stationery available on site).
 

Exhibition location: Psychology and Socio-pedagogical Library (Borgo Carissimi 10, Parma) | November 7, 2025 - January 31, 2026

Opening hours:
From Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm
 

The event is open to pedagogists and, more generally, to education professionals with the aim of creating an opportunity to share opinions between those who actively work in contexts and those who are building their pedagogical professionalism at the university.
