Access
To enter the library, you must generate a temporary QR code using the Biblioparma app. Access is regulated by turnstiles. Users from outside the university can use the study rooms to consult library books and journals, provided they request temporary authorisation by emailing biblec@unipr.it.
Consulting books and journals
Consultation is open to all. The books in the library are arranged on open shelves according to the subject classification defined by the Dewey Decimal Classification. You can take books from the shelves yourself to consult them or request them on loan. If you need a book held in storage, you can submit your request via the Online Catalogue or directly to the front office. The book will be available the next morning. Requests made on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday. If you are an external user not resident in Parma or the Province of Parma and you need to consult books or magazines, you must submit a request to the library manager.
