Locations

The Economics Library is located in the Kennedy-d'Azeglio University area. You can reach us on foot from the railway station crossing the Parco Ducale, or by bus 3, 4, 5, 7, 23, stopping at Piazzale Santa Croce.

Collection

The collection is a great resource for both the academic and local communities because it covers a lot of different subjects, including business, economics, law, socio-historical and statistical-mathematical disciplines. It includes books, print and online journals, and specialised databases. The University of Parma also gives students free access to more than 50,000 electronic journals, around 5,000 of which are in the field of economics. Most of the library's printed books and journals are available on the shelves in the rooms, so they're easily accessible to all users. In particular, the books are arranged by subject according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

Access

Access is controlled by turnstiles and the Student Card is required to enter. If you are not enrolled at the University of Parma and wish to consult books, periodicals or use our study rooms of the Economics Library, you must request a temporary pass from the Director.
