UpToDate is an up-to-date platform of evidence-based clinical information useful as clinical decision support. You can access thousands of clinical topics in 25 specialties containing best practices, recommendations, charts, links, and drug monographs.

From 2025 access to the Anywhere version that requires registration but allows remote access without VPN and from APP. Registration is simple and free and only needs to be done the 1st time. To register:

  1. connect to UpToDate from the university network by typing https://www.uptodate.com/login;
  2. click on the "Register" link in the upper right corner and fill out the form to create your account, then click on "Submit";
  3. for subsequent logins, use the "Sign In" link to login;
  4. to maintain access to UpToDate you must confirm your affiliation with the University of Parma every 90 days. To do so, simply log in to UpToDate from the university network.
