How to borrow a book
The loan service is reserved for registered users of the University of Parma and residents in the City of Parma or in the provincial territory.
- For open-shelf books, located in the Main Reading Room and the History Section, you can take the book you are interested in directly from the shelf and go to the front office to register the loan.
- For books in the Sections of Classical Philology (FILCL), Philosophy, Emeroteca and Deposits you must enter your loan request through the Catalogue with the BiblioParmaApp or by sending an email to bup@unipr.it.
Once reserved, you have 2 days to pick them up or to go to the library for consultation.
It is important to return the book in time: each day of delay is 1 day of suspension from the service.
