Access and consultation

The Library is open to all for consultation of books, journals, and other print resources.

The Library holds 370 periodicals located in the Journals Section at the ground floor.

To consult the journals you have to submit a request through the Catalogue by accessing your personal space, or with the BiblioParmaApp or by email to bup@unipr.it.

In the Library there are 181 seats for individual study distributed in 3 reading rooms with Wi-Fi and electrical outlets for charging mobile devices.

Located at the entrance of the Library, it occupies the nave of the old church and offers 89 seats.

Here are open-shelf books of courses programs (DID Section), general reference materials (CONS Section: dictionaries, encyclopedias, repertories), italianistics and those of Dewey classes 000 (generalities) to 400 (linguistics). Books from 500 (pure science) to 900 (geography) are placed in the balcony on the first floor.
