On April 13 at 3:00 PM, an online workshop will be held on the IEEE platform, dedicated to authors and users of the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
The workshop is divided into two modules:
• Search Strategies on IEEE Xplore – practical tips to optimize the use of the platform and make the most of the available content
• Publish in Open Access – an operational focus on how to correctly publish in Open Access with IEEE, avoiding the most common mistakes
Program of the day
The day’s programme is structured into three main points:
• Introduction by the University Library System management, including a presentation of the agreement between IEEE and CARE CRUI, which enables Open Access publishing.
• Contribution from the Opinion Leaders of our institution, who will share their experience with Open Access publishing through IEEE.
• Main presentation by Dr. Eszter Lukacs, who will deliver her session in English.
Specifically, in her talk entitled “How to Get Published with IEEE: Authorship and Open Access”, Dr. Lukacs will address the following topics:
• How to select the right journal for your articles
• Practical tips to improve your chances of publication
• The Open Access publishing process with IEEE
• Case studies of authors from Italian universities publishing with IEEE
At the end of the event, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
