University library system

The University Library System comprises all the libraries of the University of Parma, organized into specific Organizational Units.

Its purpose is to ensure the development, updating, accessibility, preservation, and promotion of the University’s bibliographic and documentary heritage. It also aims to facilitate access to bibliographic information and to remove barriers that may hinder resource use by disadvantaged users.

The University Library System participates in consortia and adheres to agreements, as well as to local, national, and international cooperation networks that support the development and dissemination of bibliographic and documentary information.
