The University of Parma adheres to transformative agreements concluded between the CRUI and publishers.

The negotiation, on behalf of CRUI, is conducted by the Cordinamento per l'accesso alle risorse elettroniche (CARE-CRUI).

Transformative agreements provide the corresponding authors of the University of Parma with the opportunity to publish articles in Open Access (OA) without paying fees for so-called Article Processing Charges (APCs), generally in hybrid journals, with a few exceptions that also cover gold OA journals.

Below are summary information sheets, for the use of authors, regarding the individual agreements signed.

On the FAQ and glossary page you will find answers to the most common questions we receive from UNIPR authors about the possibility of publishing free of charge in open access and a mini glossary. If there is not what you are looking for, please contact us at bibliot@unipr.it.
