The reserved material will be available according to the time of the request:
- books and journals requested by h 12.00 will be available from h 14.30
- books and journals requested after h 12.00 will be available from h 9.30 of the first working day following the request
Books located in “CENTRALE Sala 2 Testi esame” are available for immediate loan, upon reservation request, which can also be made on the spot.
If you request a book on loan from the OPAC, you have three working days, from when you receive the confirmation email, to pick it up.
How to renew a loan nearing its due date
A loan is extendable:
- from the day you receive the expiration notice by e-mail (2 days before the expiration date);
- BEFORE the expiration date (after the expiration date it is no longer possible);
- ONLY IF the volume has not already been reserved by other users.
You can extend the loan independently using the online functions of the OPAC.
To request an extension, simply follow these steps:
- Connect to the OPAC
- Log in with your UNIPR credentials or SPID
- Log in to your personal space and click on Prestiti
- Click on Proroga il tuo prestito
- Your loan will be automatically renewed by 7 days
If the book has already been reserved you CANNOT extend your loan.
If the book is not reserved, but there are more than two days left until the due date, you still cannot extend the loan, and the message Prorogabile dal appears.
Suspension from lending and library services
A user who returns volumes late without having made a request for extension will be suspended from lending for a number of days equal to the delay (with a tolerance of 3 days); he/she will also be suspended from library services until the volumes are returned.
