12% discount on APCs (Article Processing Charges) for Science Advances

The University of Parma has joined the transformative agreement entered into by CRUI with the publisher AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).

The agreement guarantees access to Science (ISSN: 0036-8075), Science Signaling (ISSN: 1945-0877) and Science Translation Medicine (ISSN: 1946-6234) journals available on the Science ONLINE JOURNALS and provides, for corresponding authors formally affiliated with the University, a 12% discount on the cost of publishing in open access on the gold (or full) open access Science Advances (ISSN: 2375-2548) journal.

The University of Parma has joined the transformative agreement with publisher The Company of Biologists.

The agreement guarantees access to journals available on the publisher's website and archives since 1853 and provides, for corresponding authors formally affiliated with the University, to publish in open access and at no additional cost on the hybrid and gold OA journals.

The University of Parma has joined the transformative agreement entered into by CRUI with publisher ACS.

The agreement guarantees access to journals available on the ACS Publications and provides, for corresponding authors formally affiliated with the University, to publish in open access and at no additional cost in hybrid and gold OA journals.

[Update 04/11/2025] CRUI's CARE team reported that the 2025 funds to publish in open access for free in journals of the publisher Wiley are expected to run out by the end of November.

The University of Parma has joined the transformative agreement signed by CRUI with publisher IEEE.

The agreement guarantees access to journals available on the IEL (IEEE Electronic Library).

The agreement also provides corresponding authors formally affiliated with the University with the option to publish open access at no additional cost in hybrid journals starting from the agreement signing date, expected in November 2025.

As soon as it is available, the exact date will be posted on the Publishing in Open Access page under "IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers," where more information about the agremeent is available.

The publisher announced that it had restored access to the Reaxys resource.

Please note that all University Libraries will be closed during the summer from August 4th to 22nd inclusive.
